There are up and coming products for ATCA that are ready to take the industry by storm. These include orthogonal backplanes, SerDes test units, and 40G ATCA backplanes. The orthogonal concept is a completely different approach to backplane design. Develop with partner Z-Plane Inc, Bustronic has a backplane with the high-speed routing acress the rear of the backplane (see photo example), essentially the z-axis of the board.  With the high-speed signals taken off the backplane and onto rear pluggable “links” that carry point-to-point signals directly, there are virtually no negative stub effects on the backplane.  (See full article)

VPX Load Board		VPX Cabling System – Coming Soon!
Bustronic now offers its VPX Load Board in 4 versions – 6U standard, 6U conduction cooled, 3U standard, and 3U conduction cooled.   The load boards can apply various power levels to the system for troubleshooting/prototyping.		The VPX cabling system is the industry’s first direct cabling system for the VPX architecture.  Compliant to the latest VITA 46 specifications, the cabling system can be used for IO to bulkhead connectors, slot-to-slot connections, and out-of-band communication.
