Bustronic Test Methodology

We will look at how testing is performed on Bustronic backplanes and show how our advanced testing procedures result in top quality products.

Bustronic's test methodology is to thoroughly test each backplane after fabrication and assembly to ensure our customers receive the finest products available.

A high quality backplane starts with the design process, where we use conservative design rules and tolerances. Each design is a product of our knowledge and expertise. We de-rate all components and use multi-sourced, mature technology. Vendors must compete on more than price and availability; they must provide quality, reliable components.

The backplane fabricator is required to provide a test report to verify etching, layer stackups, and characteristic impedances. We use a few carefully chosen board houses. Not all board houses can manufacture backplanes that meet our standards. More
