Design
Center in Europe
Established
in January 1997, the design center in Romania is an important
research and design facility for Bustronic and the Elma group.
From its program with the local universities, it gathers the
best minds in Europe in the fields of backplane design, mechanical
design, research, and software development.
We also
have facilities in Germany, with over 25 designers and engineers
specializing in backplanes. Our European design and engineering
staff are renowned for their experience in complex telecom
backplanes containing up to 34 layers, rigid-flex-rigid backplanes,
active cards and backplanes, high-speed differential signals
from 3.125 to 6.250 Gbps and higher, Computer Telephony applications,
