These include a wide range of designs in 3U VME, 6U VME, 6U VME64x, 7U VME64x, VME320, VXS, VITA 31.1, and VPX (VITA 46). Combining all of the power, shroud and other options, this comes to thousands of possible configurations available standard.

Serving the VME backplane market since 1989, Elma Bustronic has thousands of standard VME configurations available and has completed over 1000 custom VME designs to date. The VME-based backplane lines consist of typical slot sizes from 2-21 slots, power bugs or lugs, electronic or mechanical auto daisy chaining, and shrouds over the first and last slots. A controlled-impedance stripline design provides virtually zero crosstalk.
